Each season runs from September to the following March and the films are shown fortnightly at the Regent Cinema early on Sunday evenings.

The cost of an adult annual subscription is such that the entrance to each film works out at below half a normal cinema ticket price.

New members are always welcome but our membership is limited by the size of the cinema. Existing members should have received application forms for the 2010-11 season. We do expect to be able to admit new members for the coming season - to join the waiting list for 2010-11 please contact the Membership Secretary (see below).

For those who have paid - we expect to start distributing membership tickets and printed programmes in the first week of September.

The Guest system

The previous method of booking guest tickets caused many problems both for members and for the committee, so in recent seasons we decided to try a change - using a guest register instead of pre-booking. This has worked well, and we will continue it next season.

We shall continue to include two vouchers for guest tickets with each membership, printed on the back of your membership card. If you bring more guests in the season you will pay £5 each as before.

Please do not telephone to book guests. All guests must be accompanied by the member bringing them, and both member and guest will be asked to sign the register. You will need to do this whether you are using a voucher or paying. Please allow a few minutes extra to do this little piece of administration.
